Who is responsible

The controller of this website is Alvaro Melgar Merenciano, whose identifying details appear in the legal notice. You can get in touch at melgarmerencianoalvaro@gmail.com.

What data we process

None that leaves your device. Every Filacoste calculator runs entirely in your browser: the weights, times, prices and files you enter are not sent to any server, not stored in any database and not shared with anyone. If you drop a G-code file, it is read locally on your own machine.

There is no user registration, we don't ask for an email address and we use no contact forms that send data: the only way to reach us is an email you choose to write.

What is kept in your browser

To make the tool convenient, Filacoste may store information in your browser's local storage. These are not tracking cookies and nothing travels anywhere:

• Your working settings (printer, electricity tariff, hourly rate and markup), only if you press «Save my settings».
• Your last five calculations, only if you save them yourself.
• Whether you have already seen an advertising notice during this session, so it isn't repeated.

You can wipe all of it at any time by clearing the site data in your browser settings. The detail is in the cookie policy.

Advertising

This site is funded by advertising. Once advertising is switched on, the provider may use its own cookies or identifiers to serve ads and measure their performance, in line with its own policies. At that point you will see a consent notice where you can accept or reject non-essential uses.

Analytics

We use no analytics or tracking tools of our own. No third-party scripts are loaded by default on these pages.

If you send us an email

The calculators generate no personal data at all, but if you choose to write to us we do process what you send: your email address and the content of your message.

• What for: only to read it and reply to you.
• Legal basis: your own consent in writing to us, and our legitimate interest in answering questions about the site (Articles 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• How long: as long as it takes to resolve your query, and at most one year from your last message. After that it is deleted.
• Who we share it with: nobody. The email is handled by our email provider and is never sold or passed on to third parties.

Your rights

The calculators build no profile of you: there is nothing to access or erase from using them. If you have written to us, you can exercise these rights over that email under Regulation (EU) 2016/679:

• Access: know what we hold about you.
• Rectification: correct it if it is wrong.
• Erasure: have it deleted.
• Restriction and objection: have us stop using it.
• Portability: receive it as a file.

To exercise them, write to melgarmerencianoalvaro@gmail.com. And if you feel we have not handled it properly, you have the right to complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es), the supervisory authority in Spain, or to the authority in your own country.
